Personally, I'm no stranger to transitions and high stakes roles. I've held public office, been an appointed state commissioner of behavioral health, and led teams in the nonprofit sector for over two decades.
As CEO of multiple nonprofits supporting homeless families, survivors of child abuse, and trauma-impacted communities, I've turned around organizations in financial trouble, and worked through challenges caused by poor organizational compliance, governance neglect, and low morale caused by dysfunctional leadership. As President and CEO of a national affordable housing accreditation board, I've developed standards and assessed organizations, and program effectiveness across the country,
In every role in my life, my focus has been the same: engage with integrity and empathy, lead with thoughtful ideation and operational clarity, and always look for the collaborators who are willing to roll up their sleeves.
I founded Steady Hand Advisory to bring that experience—and a steady, grounded presence—to people and organizations navigating change under pressure.
